the harvest is ready (are you?)

hey, mau here

i'm sitting here in the same little cheeky cafe i wrote you from when i first got to Bali.

you probably don't remember lol. it's called Remix. they have really good fresh juice and yummy healthy food.

anyways, I just got off the call with someone in the step into flow cohort.

I'm still shocked (but also not) at how easily this all came together. it almost felt effortless.

like yes, i showed up every day. I did the things I had to do to make it happen…

but also, things just kind of fell into place?

i didn't have to "sell" anyone…

i simply let people know what I was doing, my intentions, and invited them to join.

the people who felt called reached out – i sent them a "fancy" google doc with details, and if they said they were in, i sent over a stripe link. that's it.

no fancy funnel. no polished website. no sales tactics.

just a simple invitation.

things really can be that simple. and this just goes to show, you don't need to have everything figured out to start. in fact, i think that's part of the reason people wanted to join - because I was so transparent about NOT having everything figured out.

and through this all, I can't help but think of a bible verse I saw at church right before diving into this whole thing:

"the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few"

basically, how i took this (at the time) was – there are people out there who already need what you have to offer.

...even if you don't know/see it yet.

we all have something unique to bring to the world. we have a certain light we were made to share with others.

and that light?

it's "medicine" that other people need.

sure, not everyone needs our medicine...

but the right people DO.

which means… you almost have a DUTY to show up, get out of your own way, and share what's on your heart – regardless of how you feel.

why?

because if you don't, you're literally depriving people of something that could ACTUALLY help them.

that thing that is in your heart, that you feel called to share/express/create…

is YOUR gift.

and it looks different for each and every one of us.

so even if you are saying/creating the exact same stuff as someone else, the simple act of YOU saying it makes it completely different.

because YOUR lived experience is unique to you.

the lens you share your message will be different by default.

you talk different. you move different. your experiences are different.

nobody else can/will be able to replicate you. and you can't replicate anyone else.

this should be a sigh of relief.

and it should empower you to lean into who you naturally are.

because people need you.

they need all of you.

they need the real, raw, messy, imperfect version of you.

not the polished, picture perfect, "I have everything figured out" version of you.

because we all know… nobody has everything figured out.

and the more you can show every unique side of you, the more people will be able to relate, connect, and receive your medicine.

so again, it is NOT about having everything figured out, "knowing" enough, being "articulate" enough…

it's just about owning yourself - fully.

and it's about stepping fully into the person you KNOW you are meant to become.

so if you feel something wanting to be expressed through you, but you're stuck asking yourself:

"why should anyone listen to me?"

this is why.

because you are YOU. and there is no one else like you.

so own it.

step into it.

and most importantly, become it.

that is all.

have an amazing day
